This Royal Copenhagen ceramic (porcelain) tureen is in excellent mint condition. The pattern is Blue Fluted Half Lace - framed by its delicate lace trim, which acts as a foil for the hand-painted motif and charming snail shell on each lid. A versatile classic. Meticulous work and gorgeous art always went hand in hand.
The blue and green mark reads: Royal Copenhagen Denmark (Bar below letter N in Copenhagen) indicates production in 1979-1983.
Also marked 3 wavy lines, BXR (painter) and 1/595-1109.
