Stunning set of 6 plates in rare “Queen Victoria “ raspberry pattern, marvelous hand painted, with lovely various butterflies and flowers, gold trimmed, in perfect condition.

According to Herend's literature, "this Chinese-influenced pattern demands the skills of Herend's most talented and experienced painters."

 

Lovely to display on a table, this marvelous set of plates is suitable for serving sweets, cakes, or canapés for the most pretentious ones.

 

The floral and foliate pattern includes butterflies and other garden insects with a different design on every plate. It was first introduced in 1851 for the First World Exhibition in London and was named in the honor of Queen Victoria.

This is a rare color, as it is in predominant pink color, one of the varieties shown in Herend catalog page 170, marked with a blue Herend shield stamp and numbered.

All 6 plates are in excellent to pristine condition, NO chips, NO cracks, and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of the description.
