Georg Jensen "Blossom" Sterling Silver Sugar Bowl and Creamer
These are a part of the Blossom tea/coffee set. Low and stout fett and a magnolia blossom on top is a classic example of Georg Jesen's work with flora and fauna. He found fascinating elements from nature and incorporated them into his designs, making them come alive in an imageinative way. This pattern was first introduced in 1905 and designed by Georg Jensen.
This set has a high polished finish and are in good condition. Marked a 1933-1944 version “GJ" & a 1910-1938 version "925.5s" together with "Denmark Sterling"
As a typical for Georg Jensen's pieces, the decoration was applied to the top and the bottom of the pieces.
